When Pati left her corporate career to pursue writing literature for children and young adults, she started pet-setting in others homes. She never knew she’d be fighting off skunks and raccoons at dog doors, dodging spiders in cob-webbed filled basements, holding onto poodles in underground homes during earthquakes, chasing loose donkeys, or soaking in hot tubs that cascade into swimming pools.
