Pati speaks at schools, libraries, conferences-anywhere people want to learn about writing. She speaks to all ages, tailoring her presentations to the specific audience. Pati discusses the writing process, her published works, and those in progress;  facilitates writing workshops geared to writing fiction and memoirs; and leads creative visualizations specifically tailored to writers and illlustrators.  For scheduling, pricing and more information about the programs she offers:

One-Day Writers' Conference

 

Pati Hailey will be facilitating a creative visualization workshop aimed to help solve story problems at a free writing conference at the Southwest Oklahoma City Library. The conference will feature keynote speaker Sonia Gensler, award-winning author of The Revenant, The Dark Between and Ghostlight. Other workshop offerings include Elements of a Query, 1st Page Critiques, Self-Publishing and much more. Speakers include Kim Ventrella, author of The Skeleton Tree, Pati Hailey, author of Te Ata and more to come.

 

The conference is Saturday, May 7, 2016 from 10:00 AM - 4:15 PM at Southwest Oklahoma City Public Library. Registration opens 4/7/2016 after 9 AM.

Writing Children's Non-Fiction.

 

Join a panel of published authors for a discussion over writing children's non-fiction. The panel members include Pati Hailey, Gwendolyn Hooks, Jane McKellips and Amy Stephens. The class is offered free of charge, but registration is requested. Teens ages 12 and up and adults are welcome!

 

The class will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 8 at the Southwest Oklahoma City Public Library.
